Pose Estimation in Taekwondo

For this project, I want to combine Artificial Intelligence with my interest in Taekwondo. More specifically, I want to explore the application of 2D multipose estimation on photos and videos of athletes doing the sport of Taekwondo.

I trained a multi-stage CNN on the MS-COCO dataset and evaluated the model with Taekwondo poses.
